The final day of SPARK HR is a sad thought, but some of the best conversations were saved for last, and they’re helping HR leaders shape the future they want to see. What does the future of AI look like? Well, that’s up to HR professionals, and how they approach the learning and development of their teams, leadership, and knowledge.
Here are the best takeaways from the last day at SPARK HR!
Shaping the Future of AI
The morning was kicked off by veteran SPARK speaker, AI aficionado, And Director of Talent Development at LinkedIn, Chrissy Roth-Francis. Despite AI being such a hot topic, few actually take the time to learn its ins and outs and try and take a hold on what it’s future becomes.
Roth-Francis led us through conversations about the good, the bad, and the ugly of AI, and opened the floor for people to give their real opinions, fears, and hope. In talking as a community, she encouraged HR leaders to take hold of what AI can, and should be.
AI and the CLEAR Framework
AI is everywhere, but it often feels like its hidden behind a veil of shadow and mystery. Thankfully, Jenessa Disler, Sr. Director of Talent and Succession at McKesson, went on stage to dispel myths and discuss how HR leaders can approach AI and their culture with clarity and compassion.
She discussed the CLEAR framework, in which Culture signals, Leader behavior, Engagement infrastructure, AI intentionality, and Readiness at scale come together to create a solid HR framework that allows HR professionals to approach their future and their culture with confidence like never before.
Now and Then: AI’s Rippling Effects
Ben Eubanks, Chief Research Officer of Lighthouse Research & Advisory, bestselling author, and seasoned SPARK speaker ended off this year’s conference with an in-depth look at the ripple effects of AI, and what it’s current form and use means for the future, and how HR can have a hand in determining what that future looks like.
As a researcher of over 10 years in AI, there’s no one better to actually tackle the issues and needs of using AI. Eubanks gave solutions for data privacy, prompt engineering, and more, before giving a live demo with his new live agent.
